A "finished-contract transfer" means hiring a helper who has already completed (or is about to complete) their existing contract with another employer in Hong Kong. These helpers are legally staying in Hong Kong to find a new employer — they are not runaways or terminated workers.

The biggest advantage of finished-contract helpers is their existing Hong Kong experience. They're already familiar with local life, transportation, grocery shopping, and many can understand and speak a reasonable level of Cantonese. This experience allows them to adapt to a new household much more quickly.

For families who need a helper urgently, a local transfer is the fastest option. Since the helper is already in Hong Kong, the visa transfer process takes only about 2 weeks — much faster than overseas hiring.

The process is straightforward and fast:

Step 1: Consultation & Matching (1-3 days)
Discuss your needs with our consultant. We immediately screen suitable candidates from our list of finished-contract or soon-to-finish helpers.

Step 2: Interview & Selection (3-7 days)
We arrange for you to meet candidates in person. You can visit our North Point office, or we can arrange for the helper to meet you at a location of your choice.

Step 3: Confirmation & Contract (1-2 days)
Once you've selected your preferred candidate, the employment contract is signed. We handle all documentation and procedures.

Step 4: Visa Transfer (approximately 2 weeks)
We submit the new visa application to the Immigration Department. This process typically takes about 2 weeks. During the wait, the helper may be completing their remaining service with their previous employer.

Step 5: Official Start
Once the visa is approved, your helper officially begins work at your home. We continue to follow up to ensure a smooth transition for both parties.
