1. Zero Tolerance for Overcharging
Under the Employment Ordinance, licensed agencies may only charge helpers a commission of up to 10% of the first month's wages. DuckDuckDay strictly observes this cap and will never charge helpers fees exceeding the statutory limit under any pretext.
We understand that overcharging burdens helpers with heavy debt, severely affecting their work performance and mental wellbeing. Ultimately, both employers and helpers suffer. That is why we maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward overcharging.
If you become aware of any agency overcharging helpers, we encourage you to report it to the Labour Department (hotline: 2115 3667). We are also happy to assist.
2. Standard Employment Contracts
DuckDuckDay exclusively uses the Labour Department's designated standard employment contract (ID 407). This contract has been vetted by the government's legal team, with fair and clear terms that comprehensively protect the rights of both employers and helpers.
We never use self-drafted "supplementary agreements" or "additional clauses" to circumvent the standard contract's provisions. The contract covers wages, working hours, rest days, holidays, food arrangements, accommodation, termination conditions, and more -- all in accordance with legal requirements.
Before signing, we walk employers through every clause to ensure you fully understand your rights and obligations.
3. Transparent Fee Policy
DuckDuckDay's fee policy is straightforward: our quote is our final price, with absolutely no hidden charges.
Before you decide to use our services, we provide a detailed written quotation itemizing all fees, including agency fees, visa fees, medical examination fees, and more. You never need to worry about unexpected charges being added during the process.

4. Personal Data Privacy Protection
We strictly comply with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and properly safeguard all personal data of employers and helpers. Our specific measures include:

DuckDuckDay firmly opposes all forms of discrimination. We will not refuse service or provide unfair treatment based on a helper's nationality, race, religion, age, or other personal characteristics.
When matching helpers with employers, we make recommendations based on objective factors such as work skills, experience, and language ability -- never on prejudice or stereotypes. We also remind employers that under the Race Discrimination Ordinance, discriminating against helpers during the employment process is unlawful.

6. Ongoing Compliance Training
Laws and regulations are constantly evolving, and so is our team's knowledge. DuckDuckDay regularly provides compliance training for all staff to ensure every team member is familiar with the latest legal requirements and industry best practices.
